Uses
The 402 WaterSeal by Everbuild is the ultimate water-resisting product that's specially formulated for protecting various surfaces. The Everbuild team crafted this product using a high-performance composite that doesn't contain any solvents. This creates a more user-friendly product as it's non-flammable and won't harm the user or the organic life in the environment. It achieves its protection by penetrating deeply into the surface, providing effective water repellence for many years to come, resisting UV light.
Preparation
The surface has to be prepared to achieve optimal results, starting by checking if it's sound and stable. After checking it, clean it by removing any contaminants that can interfere with this product, including dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
Application
- Shake well before applying; you can use this to damp surfaces but not wet.
- Apply to the surface using either a low-pressure (garden spray), brush or roller.
- Ensure the surface is fully saturated on vertical surfaces, working from the bottom up.
- When treating horizontal surfaces, flood the entire area and then, after 10 minutes, spread it out using a roller, mop or soft brush, ensuring the whole surface is covered.
- Two coats are recommended for optimal results, applying the second within 1 hour after the first when the surface has soaked the first coat but is still wet.
- Any tools used can be cleaned immediately after use using warm water.
Limitations and Notes
- This product should not be applied in temperatures below 10°C
- This should not be applied when it rains or if rainfall is imminent.
- Do not apply to painted surfaces.
- When applying the second coat, ensure the first one hasn't dried; otherwise, you may prevent penetration properties from being fully optimised.
- This should not be applied to wood, rubber or plastic.
- Do not use this product in fishponds.
- Do not prepare the area using detergents to clean the area as this can significantly affect the beading effect property.
