Uses
The 403 Concrete Hardener & Dustproofer by Everbuild is the ultimate floor sealer for concrete floors. It's formulated with a unique composite that safely hardens the surface and gives it a dustproof property, which helps you with cleaning in the long run. The composite in this product is a high-quality silicate resin that achieves outstanding performance and is ideal for application to the interior and exterior. Applications this product has been used in are;
- Dustproofing new and old concrete/cement-based floors, screeds and paving in factories, domestic dwellings and garages.
Preparation
Brush any debris and contaminants on the surface, giving a sound, stable base for the 403 to be applied to. Ensure that if you have any surface damage, you complete remedial work before you seal the floor.
Application
- Stir the product thoroughly before using
- Using either a brush or spray, apply to the surface at a rate of 1 litre per 5 sq, working it well into the surface
- Apply the second coat 24 hours later and allow it to dry for another 24 hours
- After the second coat has dried, hose down the entire surface with cold, clean water to remove surplus materials
- You may want to apply further coats on exceptional dust or very porous floors.
Limitations and Notes
- Only suitable for use on cement-containing surfaces
- Always wash down the floor afterwards to remove any surplus.
- This product will not restore badly disintegrated concrete
- do not treat concrete within 28 days of laying
- This product cannot be painted over
