Uses
Everbuild 506 Universal Contractors PVA has various applications, the unique formula by Everbuild enables this product to deliver outstanding results in multiple areas. You can use this product as a general-purpose adhesive for surfaces such as; wood, cork, paper and textiles, and it works great as an admixture for mortar, screeds and renders. As well as an admixture, it can act as a bonding agent for screeds and renders difficult substrates. Before tiling, this product is an excellent primer, sealer, and internal filler when mixed with wood shavings, plaster, and other solutions.
Application
For general priming:
Dilute the product 4 parts water to 1 Everbuild® 506 Contractors PVA, and apply using a brush.
For a bonding coat:
Use neat and apply with a brush; apply plaster or render while still tacky
As an adhesive:
Use undiluted, coat each face and press surfaces together, and large areas should be clamped for 24 hours.
As a cement admixture:
Add 10 to 15 litres of EVERBUILD® 506 Contractors PVA to 50Kg cement.
As a filler/plaster admixture:
Dilute 1 to 1 with water and add to mix in place of water
Limitations
This product is not suitable for exterior application, nor is it suitable in areas subject to constant dampness.
