Uses
The Forever White Powder Wall Tile Grout by Everbuild is a unique, superb product that stands out in the market. It has achieved several accolades, including a world-leading anti-bacterial solution and certification. It has been tested by a NAMMAS-accredited microbiological laboratory, which showed no mould growth even after 10 years of simulated ageing. This product is formulated with a cement-based powdered grouting compound with added PVA to increase the adhesion and water-repelling features. It is ideal for application in kitchens, bathrooms, shower areas, and worktops subject to water contact.
Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from any contaminants that can hinder the adhesion of the grout. Remove paints, adhesives, dirt, dust, grease, oil, etc. Tiles must be left at least 24 hours, or if it's on a non-porous surface, it should be at least 3 days for the adhesive to dry before grouting.
Mixing
To achieve a smooth, lump-free paste, you should mix approximately 2 parts powder to 1 part water. Allow it to stand for 10 minutes before grouting and stir again.
Application
- Apply by either cloth or squeegee
- Push grout well into joints, ensuring all voids are filled
- Remove any excess grout with a damp cloth before it's dried
- Protect all grouted areas from frost and water until it's cured fully
Limitations and Notes
- This product is unsuitable for floors
- Always mix with clean water and allow tile adhesive to dry before grouting.
