Preparation
Surfaces that you intend to bond need to be cleaned before focusing on removing contaminants on the surface, such as dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc. After cleaning, dry the surface thoroughly; if you're looking to work with new concrete or plaster, you should allow it to fully cure and mature before applying. Porous and friable surfaces should be primed before application.
Application
- Cut the top of the cartridge, ensuring not to damage the threaded screw
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, then screw the nozzle onto the cartridge
- Place the cartridge into a standard applicator tool/gun
- Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces
- Bring both surfaces together, ensuring the bond is firmly pressed between and allow to cure for up to an hour
Limitations
- Do not apply on damp surfaces
- This should not be used as a mirror adhesive
- Do not apply this to polystyrene, styrofoam or expanded polyurethane
- Heavy materials that are being bonded require additional support to ensure a safe, optimal cure
- Solvents present may attach sensitive plastics
