Uses
The Plumbers Gold by Everbuild is an all-rounded plumber's dream product with outstanding primer-less bonding strength to most common bathroom substrates. Its composite even contains anti-fungal properties, preventing unwanted mould growth with fantastic weather and waterproofing resistance, also making it ideal for interior and exterior use. Surfaces that this product can adhere to include

Preparation
Prepare the surface by removing all contaminants that can hinder the adhesion, including dirt, dust, grease, oil, etc. On specific dusty substrates, despite this being a primer-less product, it may struggle to adhere to the surface, so priming it with Everbuild PVA Bond 1 : 4 with Water is advised.
Application
- Cut the top of the cartridge, ensuring not to damage the threaded screw.
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to an opening of your requirement and screw it onto the cartridge.
- Place the cartridge into a suitable, standard sealant applicator tool/gun.
- Point the tip of the cartridge to the surface. Cover it in a zig-zag motion for adhesion applications and press surfaces together immediately. For sealant applications, apply a singular bead from one side to the other, tooling it down within 10 minutes of application.
- Clean it with a cloth and white spirit in case of an unexpected mess.
Limitations and Notes
- This is not suitable for use with drinking or potable water
- If used for overhead applications, mechanical fixings must be used in conjunction
- For glass block fitting or large mirrors, use mechanical fixings in conjunction
- For heavy items, temporary support during the curing process is essential
- High areas of UV may cause some darkening or discolouration but don't affect the bond's performance.
