Uses
Trade PU Construction Adhesive is perfect for both internal and external applications, and this is due to its resilience to both high humidity and weathering. It has excellent adhesion to wood and various construction materials, allowing the application of bonding window and door frames, even the corner connection, adhering to the EN204 requirements. Some of the surfaces this product can attach to include;

Preparation
Prepare the surface before commencing the application, and remove any contaminants that can hinder the adhesion of this product; this includes dirt, dust, oil, grease and similar impurities. This product achieves complete curing by exposure to the moisture in the air. You should slightly moisten the surface to optimise the adhesion; this also causes foam formation, enabling uneven surfaces to bond.
Application
- Cut the top of the cartridge, ensuring you do not damage the threaded screw.
- Screw the nozzle onto the cartridge and cut it at a 45° angle.
- Apply to the surface using a standard sealant gun on one of the two surfaces.
- Bring the two surfaces together within 5 minutes of application, and clamp for at least 15 minutes to achieve maximum strength.
Limitations
- This product is not suitable for application areas that are constantly immersed in water
- This product is unsuitable for PE, PP, PA, EPDM and Teflon
