Uses
The Stick2 Superglue GP by Everbuild is ideal for perfectly fitting surfaces that need to be bonded, with its curing time of only 10-15 seconds. It offers small but effective gap-filling properties suitable for up to 0.1mm and is a convenient single-component adhesive. It's an environmentally friendly alternative glue, and this is due to its economical usage alongside its solvent-free composite. Surfaces that this product is excellent for bonding include;
- Plastics
- Metals
- PVCu
- EPDM
PreparationÂ
Surfaces to be bonded must be cleaned, dry and free from contaminants that can hinder the adhesion, such as dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc. To avoid chilling glue lines, store surfaces in a warm environment before bonding, and when commencing the application, ensure there's a relative humidity of 50%+
Application
Unscrew the cap of the product
Squeeze the product to one surface only
Press the surface and hold them together for at least 10 seconds, taking care with the aligning as the open time is short.
Limitations and Notes
- This product should be used in applications that are constantly immersed in water.
- Ensure the surfaces are degreased before bonding
- Ensure surfaces are close fitting as it doesn't bridge gaps
- Do not use on surfaces or products that are bitumen or tar-leaching
