The Everbuild Everflex 125 One Hour Caulk Magnolia 300ml (Box of 12) has excellent properties. Allowing it to seal and fill cracks and gaps before decorating. It can seal the perimeter with ease. Offering a robust sealant that will maintain strength. Other areas this is great for application include skirting boards, ceiling cornices, windows and door frames.

Preparation

You must prepare the surfaces before starting the application, this is because if you do not, certain impurities present may hinder the adhesion of this product.

Ensure you remove all old sealants, remove any flaking on the surface and ensure the surface is free from dust, oil, and grease and is clean and dry.

Application

Cut the tip of the cartridge carefully to avoid damaging the threaded screw. Attach the nozzle to the top of the cartridge and cut it at a 45° angle, making the opening slightly wider than the gap you need to fill. Load the cartridge into a standard sealant gun and apply the sealant directly to the surface. Maintain steady, even pressure to ensure a consistent bead.

Smooth the bead within 20 minutes of application using an applicator tool, a wetted spatula, or a wooden spoon lightly soaked in a soapy solution. You can paint over the product approximately one hour after application.

Limitations

  • Avoid using this product where it will come into contact with bitumen or asphalt.

  • Do not abrade the sealant once it has cured.

  • Wait for full curing before painting.

  • Use this product only in internal applications.

  • Test compatibility with paint before full application—some paints, especially certain vinyl matt finishes, may not adhere properly or could damage the sealant.
