Uses
The Gorilla Glue is the original, must-have glue for everyone's arsenal, regardless of whether you're a Tradesperson or D.I.Yers. It utilises a polyurethane formula that, once extruded, begins to cure and expands up to 3-4 times its size. The product's composite is entirely waterproof, accompanied by excellent resistance to extreme temperatures. This makes interior and exterior applications perfect, as you can have confidence in their performance and longevity.
Preparation
To achieve optimal bonding results with the adhesive, you should prepare the surface, ensuring all contaminants, including dirt, dust, grease, oil, loose material, small debris, etc, are removed, cleaned, and the surface dried.
Application
- This product's formula works on water activation, so to aid in the curing process, you should lightly dampen the surface, taking care not to saturate it.
- Apply a thin adhesive layer to all the surfaces and bring them together. When applying the adhesive, consider that it will expand 3-4 times its size, so don't over-apply it.
- Once you've applied to both surfaces, bring them together using clamps or heavy objects to weigh it down, maintaining compression and allowing it to cure properly.
- After you use the glue, wipe the nozzle with a clean cloth, removing any excess resin. Squeeze the bottle to remove any air in the bottle and screw the lid on at the same time, securing it for any future applications.
