Protect P1 Grey Roof Coating — 2 × 5kg Tins
This double pack contains two 5kg tins of Protect P1 Grey Roof Coating, providing 10kg of coating for general roof maintenance and repairs. Its high-build, solvent-based acrylic formula contains fibres that interlace to help bridge small gaps and cracks. The coating forms a continuous waterproof barrier and is water resistant immediately after application.
The product label lists flat and pitched roofs, weathered asphalt, bituminous surfaces, gutters, concrete, brickwork, fibreglass, felt, and galvanised or ferrous metal as suitable surfaces. Assess the condition and construction of the roof to confirm suitability for the job.

How much does the double pack cover?
Apply at approximately 1–2kg per m², depending on surface condition and porosity. The two tins together cover approximately 5–10m² at that rate. Rough or porous surfaces may require more coating.
How to apply
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from loose debris, moss, lichen, dirt, grease and standing water. Stir the coating thoroughly before and during use. Apply generously with a brush, roller or squeegee, working evenly to achieve a continuous coating. The label states that most roofing substrates do not require a primer.
Apply at 5°C to 25°C. The coating is touch dry in 3–4 hours and reaches full cure in 6–7 days.
Safety: This product is flammable. Keep away from ignition sources, provide good ventilation and wear suitable protective gloves, eyewear and clothing. Do not use near fishponds or allow the coating to enter drains. Read the full label before use.
