Uses
The Everbuild Opti-Mix 3-in-1 Render Additive stands out in the rendering products market. Its concentration level is 25 times higher than conventional competitors, equivalent to 1L Opti-Mix, providing the same benefits as up to 25L of conventional rendering. The unique selling points of this product are its ability to waterproof the render, include air-entraining plasticisers, and extend open time, which collectively enhance workability and provide more time to apply the mixed batch.
Application
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Push the lid down and turn it anti-clockwise to remove it
- Squeeze the sides of the bottle to fill the measuring cup to the required dose (20-40m per 50kg of cement)
- Add the Opti-Mix to a bucket of water and stir well (Do not use more than 10 litres of water)
- Dry mix all other ingredients and add sufficient quantities of water/Opti-Mix solution until you achieve the desired consistency
- You should never add this product directly to the dry mix; instead, let it down into a portion of gauging water.
Limitations and Notes
- Never exceed the recommended dosage rate range, and do not over-mix
- Ensure the container is always secure and kept in an upright position when storing and transporting.
- Air-entraining formulation disables its ability to be used in structural concrete.
- Dispose of this product and it's packaging correctly; never dispose of it down water courses.
