Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Wax - Natural 2.5L

The Diamond Hard Floor Wax by Ronseal offers the ultimate protection for your floors, delivering outstanding diamond-hard protection with a beautiful natural finish. The low-odour formula created by the Ronseal Scientist prevents any unwanted waxing smell from lingering whilst still effectively covering up to 16m².

Preparation

You should prepare the surface by sanding it down using a floor sander or 120-grit sandpaper. Any previously painted or treated floors must have their coating entirely removed, and when sanding the surface, you should ventilate the area and wear a mask. Once you've done with the sanding, wipe the floor with white spirit and a cloth to remove any leftover dust.

Application

1. When opening the tin, stir thoroughly to break up any formed lumps.
2. Apply the wax directly to the surface and brush toward the woodgrain; avoid overlapping whilst applying the product.
3. You should wait 2 hours before applying the second coat.
4. Before applying the final coat, lightly sand the floor to help the adhesion of the wax
5. After completing the application, you must wait 8 hours before walking back on the floor and allow 24 hours to pass before moving furniture into the room.

Aftercare

To maintain the floor, you should regularly clean it, removing contaminants that can damage it. If you notice any damage to the floor over time, lightly sand the area and re-apply the wax; then, it'll be as good as new.
