Ronseal Trade Polyurethane Satincoat Varnish - 2.5L

Uses

The Trade Polyurethane Satincoat Varnish by Ronseal offers your interior wood the highest level of protection. With its trade tier quality, this product is only used by those seeking the best results. Perfect for all types of wood found in the interior. However, this product is unsuitable for application onto wooden floors.

Preparation

Sand the surface of the wood down using 120-grit paper. It's advised to wear a mask in this process to avoid inhaling dust particles. After you've sanded the surface, wipe it down with white spirit and let it dry.

Application

1. Stir the tin thoroughly to mix the paint.
2. Using a brush, apply a coat onto the wood following the direction of the grain.
3. Leave 6 hours for the layer of paint to dry, then apply a second coat.
4. Before applying the 3rd and final coat, you should slightly sand the surface down. It will optimise the last coat and presents the best quality finish.

Aftercare

Any leftover varnish on your brush can be washed off using white spirit. Don't let any of the leftover varnishes go down into the drain or watercourses.
