Soudal Grip ALL Solvent-Free - White 290ml

Uses

The Grip ALL Solvent Free by Soudal is an outstanding adhesive mastic that provides superior initial tack and bonding strength, holding up to 300kg/m² (Full surface bonding). It's perfect for use on even surfaces as it effectively bridges small gaps, filling uneven surfaces to create a flush bond. It's forged for application, including solid fixings, bonding panels, skirtings boards and anything else that requires a significantly strong bond.

Preparation

Before commencing the application, removing any contaminants present to ensure optimal bonding and performance are achieved is important. Start by removing any dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, etc. Afterwards, once you have removed all impurities, ensure the surface is dry.

Application

1. Cut the top of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded screw.
2. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle with an opening to your desired size.
3. Apply beads in intervals across one surface of the object; for larger objects, it's also important to perimeter bead as well.
4. Bring the surfaces together and ensure enough compression; you can use clamps or a rubber hammer to strike it to bond.

Limitations and Notes

• The pressure applied between the surface dictates the strength of the bond, not how long they're held together.
• This product is unsuitable for application in areas subject to constant water immersion.
