The Gripbond Pro Hybrid Sealant & Adhesive is an excellent hybrid product, offering the best of both worlds in the mastic universe. This product delivers the benefits that polyurethanes and silicone sealants can provide without the adverse effects that can come with them.
This sealant is perfect for filling and sealing connecting joints, cracks and holes in buildings, as well as bonding metal to metal, this is because the sealant can absorb vibrations. Its water-repellant properties offer a perfect adhesive for bonding concrete, mirrors, gypsum boards, polycarbonates, polystyrene, PVC, various plastics (excludes PE, PP OR PTTE), ceramics, copper, lead, zinc, aluminium, stainless steel, wood and glass.
Application
Prepare all surfaces by ensuring they are free from contaminants that can hinder the adhesion, this includes; grease, dust and oil. Dry the surface after removing the impurities from the surface and making sure it's clean.
- Apply using a standard sealant gun
- Cut the top of the cartridge without damaging the thread
- Screw the nozzle on
- Cut it at a 45° angle

As an adhesive: Applying in beads or strips and connecting the surfaces and allow to cure
As a sealant: Apply a continuous bead along the aperture and leave to cure fully. Smooth the joint by tooling it down with a soapy solution and an applicator tool.
