Uses
The Soudatherm Roof 250 by Soudal is the ultimate roofer's adhesive polyurethane foam that provides superior bonding strength whilst resisting rot, age, wind, cold and heat. Soudal forged this specifically for installing roofing insulation panels, which is why it requires all the exceptional resistant properties it contains. This product is suitable for various types of common insulation materials with common roofing surfaces as well.
Preparation
All surfaces and materials should be free from contaminants that can hinder the adhesion. This includes impurities such as dirt, dust, grease, oil, loose debris or flaking materials. Specific substrates will require priming.
Application
- Slightly moisten the surfaces to be bonded
- Shake the can thoroughly for 20 seconds
- Screw it onto a suitable PU foam gun
- Adjust the extrusion rate to 30mm beads
- Apply to the surface at a 90° angle to the surface, with a distance of 1 to 2 centimetres.
- Bring surfaces together within 8 minutes of application
- Do not traffic the bonded surface for at least 1 hour to allow it to cure fully

- All surfaces that are to be bonded need to be slightly moistened.
