Thompson's One Coat Concrete Seal - 5L

Uses

One Coat Concrete Seal by Thompson's delivers excellent protection for concrete, and using its formulated acrylic resins in aromatic hydrocarbon, it provides a layer that seals the surface. This product repels various contaminants, including water, oil, grease and fuel spills. 

Preparation

Scrub the surface with a stiff bristle brush, removing any dirt, dust or similar contaminants. Ensure that the area is well-ventilated and that you clean the surface before using a dedicated cleaner, but make sure that the surface is dry before commencing the application.

Application

Please note: the temperature and environmental conditions can affect this product's drying times.

1. Give the tin a thorough stir.
2. Pour the tin into a roller tray and apply a long pile roller directly to the surface in long, smooth strokes. (If applying to the garage floor, start from the furthest point from the door, working towards it.)
3. Ensure when applying, any puddles are dispersed evenly, making the overall coat even.
4. Certain surfaces, such as porous ones, may require a second coat 4 hours later.

Limitations

• Do not apply this product in the rain or if it is imminent during drying.
• New concrete must be allowed up to 30 days to cure fully.
• This product dries to a satin sheen finish; however, the sheen level depends on the substrate.
• The appearance of the surface may change with this product. So, test it on a small, inconspicuous surface before completing the entire application.
• Prevent any spillages from reaching vegetation or garden furniture.
• Avoid contact with plastics and rubber materials (including footwear) whilst wet.
• Remove any splashes whilst still wet with white spirit.
