Uses
The One Coat Damp Seal by Thompsons offers excellent properties, healing damp and other household stains. It is crafted with a low odour, solvent-based, highly pigmented acrylic system, and this is how it achieves its excellent result. This Damp Sealer is only suitable for application internally to walls and ceilings, and it is not suitable for application externally.
Preparation
Before painting over the dampness, ensure that you stop the cause of the dampness, remove any flaking wallpaper or paint with a wet cloth and fill cracks and holes. Ensure the room is well-ventilated when applied; it's suitable for application on damp surfaces but not dripping wet.
Application
- Give the tin a thorough shake
- Apply using a brush or roller
- Apply directly to the affected area and 30cm surrounding it
