Uses
The Patio & Block Paving Seal by Thompson's delivers excellent protection for your block paving and patio, allowing it to look visually more appealing. This product is perfect for those looking to rejuvenate the outside of their home, offering visitors a more welcoming, warm feeling as they enter. Thompson's technicians crafted this sealer with acrylic resins in aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, allowing it to achieve all these benefits. Some of the surfaces that this product is suitable for include;

Preparation
Before applying:
- Prepare the surface by removing any organic growth present.
- Wipe the surface with a stiff brush, removing dirt, dust and other contaminants that can interfere with the sealer.
- If you have stains on the surface, use a dedicated stain remover to handle it, and then ensure the surface is dry and ready for application.
Application
To achieve optimal results, you should apply this on a dry day, with a temperature above 10°C.
- Shake the tin thoroughly to mix the formula.
- Pour the tin into a roller tray and apply the product in long, smooth strokes using a long pile roller.
- When applying onto textured surfaces, ensure you make any puddles spread into all the dry areas.
- Give 4 hours for the first coat to dry, then apply a second coat. You may have to apply a third on really rough surfaces.
Limitations
- This product shouldn't be applied if the air or surface temperature is below 10°C
- Do not apply this product if it is raining or imminent.
- The surface will be slippery when wet
- Avoid spilling any of the formula into surrounding vegetation and garden furniture
- Do not allow any of this product to go into water courses or drains
- Remove any splashes whilst still wet with white spirit.
- Remove as much product from your tools as possible before cleaning them with white spirit.
