The Timco Carpenter’s Speed Auger & Flat Wood Bit Kit is fantastic when making holes in wood to install pipes and cables. It includes five drill bits that can be attached to power drills - 3 speed augers and 2 flat wood bits. Timco brand nails, screws and tools are widely recognised as top-shelf. Drawing on 50 years of industry experience they are reliable and cost-effective. Speed augers are more specialised for cleaner holes, while flat wood bits are designed to made wider holes.
These are particularly suited to drilling around joists and studding. They are also most effective when used in tandem with a special kind of power drill called an impact driver.
