5" Aero Core with Cowl & Baffle by Timloc offers outstanding properties with its through-wall ventilation system, it adheres to multiple regulations providing a product that's tested and proven. It can let heat out; however, it adheres to the British Gas requirements ensuring that it's to an absolute minimum, outscoring its counterparts. Other features of this product include its UV-stabilised cowls and grilles, allowing longevity as direct sunlight won't affect the colour.
Installation
Core anti-draught ventilators can be installed in new buildings but deliver the best results for use on existing walls.
To fit:
- Drill a hole in the wall using a core drill, ensuring the drill head size is 127-130mm.
- When making the whole, make sure you slightly incline towards the exterior of the building.
- Remove any present debris.
- Large flanges around the external cowl and internal grille allow minor irregularities to be covered smoothly
- The outer cowl will push into the sleeve, it can be secured with a silicone sealant or screw fixed.
