The Invisiweep by Timloc is an excellent product at alleviating and discharging water from external walls, it is crafted from polypropylene, guaranteeing it will not decay over time, removing the need to replace it. They are to be applied at ground level below the DPC and are entirely open along the inwards-facing side, enabling a water flow as sometimes cement may enter the bottom.
