Bond It Multi-Mate GP Silicone

Bond It Multi-Mate is perfect for sealing and waterproofing around the home and in areas prone to high humidity. It has excellent adhesion to ceramic tiles, glass, glazed surfaces and most plastics. This means that it is ideal for sealing kitchen work tops, bathrooms, showers, and general DIY uses.

Preparation

Prior to application, prepare the surface where you intend to apply this product, ensuring the surfaces are free from grease, oil and other contaminants that could hinder the adhesion.

Use an expanding foam, backing tape or rod for the best results in joints with a lot of movement.

Any cement, concrete or bare metals may need a primer applied first before application. Timber should be primed and painted beforehand.

Application

1. Apply using a standard sealant gun.
2. Cut the top of the sealant bottle without damaging the threaded screw
3. Screw the nozzle onto the top of the sealant bottle
4. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, with an opening slightly larger than the gap to fill.
5. Smooth the sealant, making sure to wet the smoothing tool with soapy water first.
