Bond It Frame-Mate Door & Window Sealant - Brown EU3

This Frame-Mate Door & Window Sealant from Bond It has excellent adhesion and filling qualities, ideal for joints with low movement. This product offers waterproof acrylic protection, perfect for your typical doors & window frames. It's suitable for concrete, wood, brick, natural stone, artificial stone and most other building materials.

However, on some surfaces, it may be appropriate to put a primer onto it first, this encourages the bonding process and secures the sealant.

Application

Prepare the area before application, including removing all dust and similar contaminants that can hinder the adhesion, ensuring it's clean and dry. If the application involves mechanical means, using a solvent like acetone to degrease and prepare the surface is recommended.

1. Using a standard sealant gun, sealant onto the gun
2. Cut the nozzle at an angle of 45°, with the size of the nozzle being slightly larger than the gap intending to fill
3. Apply the sealant to the area
4. Once applied, tool down using a sealant applicator tool wetted with soapy water (Can use a plastic spatula)
