The Incredibond Solvent Free Adhesive by Bond It has a high initial wet tack, therefore, it can hold more weight immediately. This product's ability also enables it to initiate adhesion instantly, with it forming a bond as soon as the two surfaces come into contact.
This all-rounded adhesion is an excellent bonding adhesive for almost any surface or material, these include; skirting boards, covings, architraves, dado rails, polystyrene mouldings and key holders, most common building materials, wood, OSB, chipboard, concrete, plaster, mortar, ceramic, metal (galvanised) steel, uPVC and most plastics. Please note that if you bind two surfaces together and one isn't porous, you'll have to wait longer for it to dry.
Application
Before starting the application, ensure all surfaces are prepared before. Complete this by removing all contaminants present that may hinder the adhesion, including dust, grease, oil and any loose debris present. Friable surfaces or laitance must be removed before application
- Cut the tip of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded area
- Screw the nozzle supplied and cut the tip to the desired bead size
- Apply using a standard sealant gun, completing the full application with a continuous bead.
- Press the two parts together, do this by hand or get a rubber mallet and tap them together.
You may have to way 24-48 hours before applying a load to the newly bonded surface.
