Uses
The Resiblock Trade is an excellent product that's part of the Everbuild Sika family. It's formulated by their scientist to deliver exceptional protection and resilience for jointing sand, ensuring that it has a long-lasting life. It can combat stains and organic growth and help restore it; it may affect the colour of the surface but only slightly.
Preparation
Ensure that the surface and jointing sand are thoroughly dry and free from any dirt. If the paving has dampness, this will significantly reduce joint penetration. This product should not be applied when rainfall is imminent or within the next 24 hours. Also, you cannot use this below 5°C and above 30°C
Application
- Stir the product thoroughly before starting the application
- Brush sand into the chamfers of the paving
- Apply the Resiblock Trade to the pavement by brushing, securing the surface, and sanding the joints.
- Allow it to sit for 24 hours without walking or driving a mortar vehicle on top.
Limitations and Notes
- This product is ideal for application to CBP, clay pavers, concrete flags and natural stone
- This product field of application includes pedestrian areas, driveways, patios and footpaths
- Surfaces this product cannot be applied to include PIC, engineering brick, quarry tiles and marble
- Protective clothing, including a pair of protective goggles, mask and clothing, should be worn during the application.
