The Salt-Away by Everbuild is a unique, high-quality formula that combats unsightly marks left when salt evaporates from surfaces, leaving white marks and efflorescence. It's formulated using a special, non-hydrochloric acid, which is safer to handle and for organic life.
Issues that can occur if you leave this untreated can lead to corrosive damage and structural damage to some surfaces.
Preparation
Use a stiff brush to wipe the surface, removing any surface dirt or debris.
Application
- Dampen the surface you intend to apply this to
- Apply the Salt-Away to the surface, ensuring that you apply thorough, even coverage.
- Allow it to sit on the surface for 5-10 minutes, depending on levels of efflorescence.
- Wash the surface down thoroughly using clean water
- If the efflorescence is still present, repeat the application
Limitations
- Always test in a small, inconspicuous area to ensure surface compatibility.
- Do not use on artificially coloured stone, pavers or blocks.
- Any accidents, spillages or oversprays must be washed off immediately using clean water.
