Uses

The Evo-Stik Waterproof Wall Tile Adhesive is fantastic for adhering to multiple substrates around the house. The Evo-Stik scientist specifically crafted this formula to stick to ceramic tiles; with a ready-mixed formula, you can apply this to the back of the tile and put it onto the wall in seconds. Some of the substrates this product can adhere to include;

• Plaster
• Plasterboard
• Glazed Tiles
• Brick
• Tile backer boards
• Cement renders

Preparation

Ensure the surfaces are even, dry, clean and grease-free, and any gaps or cracks are filled. If the application area is tiles, ensure they're clean and re-fixed where loose. Remove wallpaper and score paint using coarse sandpaper. New brickwork or plaster must allow four weeks to dry; ensure plaster is primed before application, giving it 1 hour to dry.

Application

1. Using a trowel or spreader, apply the ready mixed wall tile adhesive onto the wall, maintaining a depth of 3mm throughout.
2. Fix tiles onto the walls within 20 minutes of applying the adhesive, using a twisting action to securely bind the two surfaces together.
3. Allow up to 24 hours for the adhesive to cure fully; a non-porous surface will take up to 48 hours.
