This GRP Fibreglass Premium Resin is a key component in a fibreglass installation. Made by the fibreglass-specialists at Stronghold, it forms the crucial initial layer of a fibreglass roof.
Before GRP matting can be laid on a flat roof, an initial layer of Fibreglass Resin must be used to prepare the roof and produce a smooth surface for the matting to be laid on. Afterwards, a fibreglass topcoat is used to seal everything off and protect it.
Please note that GRP Fibreglass Premium Resin will need to be mixed with a methylethyl ketone peroxide catalyzing agent before it can properly cure. Instructions on how specifically to do this and what ratios are needed are found in the installation guide. Fibreglass is a complex and hazardous material to work with. If you are a DIYer roofer, it may be best to consult a professional for fibreglass work rather than tackle it yourself.
