Sekosnap is a revolutionary secondary glazing system developed by Clear Amber. Using a two-section method, it can install AXGARD 2mm and 3mm solid polycarbonate sheets over existing glazing and frames. This provides massively improved insulation as with standard double glazing. On top of this, however, it means that the outer window will be made not of glass but of the ultra-durable AXGARD. This is the true value of Sekosnap - easy to install secondary glazing that protects against physical damage as well as against the cold.
The Sekosnap Side Section allows for AXGARD to be easily installed in front of existing window frames. Even more impressively, the two-section design also allows for easy removal for cleaning or for allowing more heat transmission. The removal also introduces the possibility of swapping out the outer AXGARD pane from a clear to a patterned, opal or opaque black pane as appropriate, if you own the other types of panes.
