Uses

The Sika 1 Waterproofer by Everbuild offers your construction mixture waterproofing properties that effectively prevent any transmission of liquid water. It achieves this through its aqueous solution, which contains complex colloidal silicates. When these are in the presence of water, they swell, blocking the capillaries and pores in the mixtures.

Mixing

Before mixing, you must stir the Sika 1 to ensure there are no lumps within the solution. Mix it directly with gauging water, making sure no lumps build, then add it to your mortar/concrete mixer. You can add this to a mortar/concrete mix, assuming it's mixed enough to achieve a homogeneous consistency.

Application

You should mix this product in the concrete/mortar mixture as described in the mixing section. You can apply other Sika products in conjunction with this product.
