Uses

The Damp Proofing Slurry by Sika is an excellent, easy-to-apply product that delivers outstanding water resistance for various construction substrates. The Sika scientists brewed this product for internal application, ensuring surfaces cannot leak water, which can cause dampness and other unwanted damages. Application this product is typically applied in include;

  • Waterproof coating for domestic basements or tanking residential
  • Thin layer mortar or slurry coating/lining
  • For internal waterproofing/damp-proofing of basement and cellar surfaces
  • For internal waterproofing brickwork, renders, concrete and blockwork structures
  • The lining of water tanks, pools, planters, etc

Preparation

Ensure the surfaces are prepared to ensure optimal results by cleaning the surface with a wire brush, including mortar joints and points. They must be free from oils, grease, paint, bitumen or other surface contaminants.

Mixing

Correctly mixing this product is vital to achieve the correct results, and if you fail to do this, you risk the chance of the product not working correctly.

Slurry Application (Brush) = 4.5 - 4.7L Water : Per 25kg Bag

Mortar Application (Trowel) = 4.0 - 4.25L Water : Per 25kg Bag

Spray Application: 4.0 - 4.5L Water : Per 25kg Bag

Application

Please thoroughly read the technical data sheet to understand the application process fully. Each surface has its own preparation and application process.
