Uses
The Parquet and Timber Sealant by Soudal is an outstanding adhesive product that fills the parquet or laminate flooring joints. Instead, the Paraquet and Timber Sealant offers flexibility with a joint movement of up to 15%. Alongside these features, it also offers compatibility for painting or varnish to be applied over, allowing you to mask over and hide any unwanted sealants.
Preparation
To ensure that you achieve optimal adhesion, prepare the surface, ensuring all contaminants, including dirt, dust, grease, oil, etc, are removed and the surface is dried.
Application
- Cut the top of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded screw.
- Cut the nozzle to the desired size and screw it onto the cartridge.
- Place the cartridge into a suitable applicator tool.
- Point the tip of the nozzle to the joint and seal it using one long bead for added integrity.
- After applying it, use a filling knife to smooth down the finish.
