The Trade Roof And Gutter Sealant by Soudal is an outstanding product that provides a durable, highly resistant bond ideal for various applications around a building. It's forged with a 100% transparent bond, providing a repairing and finishing product that blends effortlessly with the environment. It's ideal for use in various areas, including fixing leaks in gutters and drainpipes, repairing cracks and seams in various substrates and acting as an emergency repair even if rainfall is imminent.

Preparation

Before commencing the application, to ensure that optimal bonding strength and results are achieved, prepare the area by removing any contaminants that can hinder adhesion. Some of these unwanted impurities present include dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, loose debris and flaking material.

Application

1. Cut the top of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded screw.
2. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle with an opening slightly larger than the gap to be filled.
3. Place the cartridge into a suitable sealant applicator tool.
4. Point the tip of the nozzle to the gap and extrude the material onto the surface.
5. After you apply, the tool is applied to a smooth, professional finish before the skin forms. When tooling, use a sealant tool or spatula/spoon wetted in a soapy solution.
