Soudal Solvent-Free Trade Grab Adhesive - White 290ml

Uses

This Solvent-Free Trade Grab Adhesive by Soudal is excellent for any Tradesman or D.I.Yer to have in their arsenal when completing various bonding applications around a building. This product adhesion is so robust that it's suitable for replacing specific mechanical fixings around a home. Some of the surfaces this product can adhere to are;

• Wood
• Synthetic materials
• Stone
• Wall tiles
• Metal on concrete
• Plasterwork
• Chipboard
• PVC

Preparation

This product does require preparation if you want to achieve optimal adhesion. Prepare the surface by removing contaminants interfering with the bonding, such as dust, dirt, oil, grease and similar impurities.

Application

1. Cut the top of the cartridge without damaging the threaded screw.
2. Screw the nozzle onto the cartridge and cut it at a 45° angle.
3. Apply to one of the surfaces with beads, ensuring a thorough coverage and secure bonding.
4. Bring the two surfaces together, applying a firm pressure and using a rubber hammer to batten it.
5. This product will take time to cure and can be loaded after 24-48 hours. You may need to support the curing process in specific applications.

Limitations

• When bonding two surfaces, this product's adhesive strength is based on the strength in the compression of the two surfaces, not the duration it's given to cure.
• This product is not suitable in areas where continuous water immersion is present.
