Bond It WP70 Neutral Cure Oxime Silicone - EU3

This WP70 Neutral Oxime Silicone is a high-quality, neutral cure silicone for perimeter sealing external wood and PVCu windows and door frames. It has a rapid curing composite which has excellent adhesion properties to most common building materials such as; glass, aluminium and painted surfaces.

There are some limitations to this product if the intended application surface is porous, you must prime the surface prior. If the surface is so porous that water can seep into the bond, be sure to carry out remedial work. This product will not work on natural stone nor in aquaria settings; asphalt and bitumen are also not advised, and painting over the sealant is not recommended. If your intended location is a low UV light area, the bond will be at risk of yellowing.

Application

Before you begin the application, ensure that you clean the surfaces prior. Remove all contaminants that can hinder adhesion, this includes dust, grease, oil and more. After you've cleaned the surface, make sure it is dry. If the intended application on movement joints, a backing material is suggested, Bond It Expanding Foam range is suitable, or a backing tape or rod. If the surface is porous, as mentioned above, be sure to prime it to optimise the adhesion.

1. Use a standard applicator tool that can take EU3 cartridge (380ml)
2. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle with a size slightly larger than the intended gap
3. After application, tool down using a sealant applicator tool
4. Protect the sealant for 3 hours due to it possible cracking with movement
