Everbuild 206 Strike Release Oil – 5 Litre

Uses

The 206 Strike Release Oil by Everbuild is an excellent product that's vital in the manufacturing and application of concrete. It uses its solvent and mineral oil-free emulsion to enable concrete shuttering, allowing the safe removal of the shuttering without damaging the existing concrete. Other applications this product can be used for include;

• 206 Strike Release Oil acts as a release agent for smooth, non-absorbent formwork, absorbent formwork, heated formwork (up to 70°C) and textured formwork.

Preparation

All formwork should be cleaned and dry before application. Any residues of rust or concrete must be removed.

Application

1. Stir the product thoroughly before using
2. Apply undiluted by spray, brush or roller
3. Apply a thin, even coverage to the surface; if you overapply this product, you'll cause 'dusting' on the surface.
4. Any excess material in moulds should be mopped up before concrete placement.
5. For new and unsealed timber or other high-absorbent formwork, pre-treatment is recommended with a second coat before use
6. After application, an evaporation period of 20 minutes (at + 20°C) should be observed before casting.

Limitations and Notes

• Only apply a thin film; overdosing can cause dusting.
