Uses
This Heat Resistant Paint by Everbuild is excellent at resisting high temperatures of heat, and it is designed to be applied in domestic settings, such as ovens, flutes, chimneys etc. It has an easy application; you can either spray or brush this product onto the surface.
Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are cooled and free from impurities that can hinder this product, that includes rust, dust, soot, grease etc.
Application
- Shake the can vigorously for at least 1 minute before application.
- Hold the can 15-20 cm from the surface and spray in long, even strokes.
- The paint film will harden once the article is heated for the first time.
- This product will take 15 minutes to dry on the surface; however, it will take 1 hour to handle. The paint will fully cure once the surface has been heated up for the first time. Alternatively, you can stove the object for about 20 minutes at 200-220°C.
Limitations
- It is recommended to be done in a well-ventilated area.
- Low temperature/high humidity will impair drying.
- Do not apply this product when the ambient temperature is below 5°C or RH exceeds 90%
- Avoid inhalation of vapours and spray mists.
- Do not spray on naked flames or any incandescent materials.
