Uses

The JETCEM Rapid by Everbuild is the ultimate quick repair product for concrete-based surfaces. Everbuild's technicians have formulated the JETCEM with a superb, fast-setting product, enabling swift application and easy repair. Applications where the JETCEM is perfect include;

• Internal and external repairs to gaps and cracks on floors and walls
• Repairing flagstones, slabs, stones and bricks
• Patching window sills and steps
• Jointing earthenware drains and pipes
• Repairing ponds and pools
• Setting in W/C's and sinks
• Leak sealing in concrete-based surfaces
• Setting posts and railing

Preparation

Before commencing the application, it's essential to prepare the surface. Complete this by removing any contaminants on the surface that can hinder the adhesion, including dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

Application

1. Using a clean vessel, mix 3 parts volume powder to 1 part cold, clean water. You should only mix enough for up to 10 minutes of work, as after 10 minutes, the mixture becomes invalid for use. To know you've mixed it correctly, you should finish with a reasonably thick slump-free paste.
2. Saturate the surface entirely using water.
3. Using a trowel or filling knife, scoop the mixture into the application area.
4. In warm conditions, you can cover the JETCEM with polyethene to assist in the curing process.

Limitations

• When mixing, it's important to mix only enough for up to 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, it will stiffen and become invalid; you cannot add water to it to try and soften it; this will weaken the cement.
• This product should not be used for load-bearing applications.
• Do not use this for holes deeper than 25mm.
• Do not apply where chemical resistance is required.
