Preparation
Before applying the OX Tools OXIT Sealant & Adhesive, clean the surface thoroughly to remove all contaminants and ensure strong adhesion. Dirt, dust, grease, oil, flaking material, and loose debris often cause poor performance, so eliminating these impurities is essential.
Application
- Cut the top of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded screw.
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle with an opening to your desired amount and screw it onto the cartridge.
- Place the cartridge into a suitable applicator tool.
- For sealant jointing, point the tip of the nozzle to the gap and apply a singular bead along the gap, smoothing it down afterwards using a sealant applicator tool.
