Uses
The 10-Year Trade Woodstain is formulated with a professional-level formula, offering up to 6m² per litre coverage with three coats required for optimal protection. It achieves all the protection needed to protect the wood, delivering a vibrant colour that revives your wood, displaying its natural qualities.
Preparation
Before commencing the application, sand the wood down using 120-grit paper, and you should wear a facemask during this process to prevent any unwanted dust from being inhaled. After sanding, clean the surface with white spirit and leave it to dry.
Application
- Stir the wood stain to mix the pigment.
- Using a synthetic brush, apply three coats of the wood stain following the direction of the grain.
- Leave it for 4 hours to dry.
- Before starting the final coat, lightly sand the wood and apply the wood stain again. This will achieve optimal colour and finish.
Aftercare
After completing the application, remove any excess wood stain from your brush using warm, soapy water. Don't not empty any wood stain into watercourses or drains.
