Uses

The Fix ALL Turbo by Soudal is the ultimate, versatile one component adhesive and sealant that offers outstanding bonding strength, accompanied by excellent resistance. It's formulated by the Soudal technicians to resist weathering and UV light, retaining its high performance. Its ability to adhere to various surfaces is unrivalled, with most common surfaces found in and around a building compatible. This product is commonly used throughout the building and metal industry in areas that require an elastic bond.

Preparation

It's important to prepare the surface to ensure optimal adhesion. Some porous surfaces may require priming, while a surface activator can enhance the bonding strength and speed on common surfaces. If you have a surface with contaminants present, they must be removed; this includes dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, flaking material and loose debris.

Application

1. Cut the top of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded screw
2. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle with an opening to the required amount
3. Apply a long strip of material from one end to the other for a strong, robust seal
4. Apply in beads or strips every 15 cm for a strong, robust adhesive connecting two surfaces
5. If you're sealing a gap, tool down the sealant to a smooth finish within 5 minutes
6. The drying times of this product can take between 20 minutes and 3 hours.

Limitations and Notes

• This product is suitable for over-painting, but check what paint you're using, as it needs to be elastic with the sealant.
• This should not be used as a glazing sealant or aquarium manufacturing.
• This product should not be used in areas subject to constant water immersion.
• Contact with certain materials, such as bitumen, tar, plasticizers, EPDM, neoprene, butyl, etc, are not suitable
