Soudal Genius Gun Gap Filler Expanding Foam - 600ml (Box of 12)

Uses

The Genius Gun Trade Gap Filler Foam by Soudal is an excellent gap-filling polyurethane expanding foam that provides fantastic stability with no shrinkage or post-expansion. Its filling capacity is fantastic, providing up to 22 litres of foam stored in a convenient and economical 600ml aerosol can. It's formulated to be elastic and compressible and has great insulation value, including thermal and acoustic. It adheres well to various substrates, showing versatility in the product.

Preparation

Before commencing the application, to ensure optimal adhesion and performance are achieved, clean the surface, wiping away all contaminants that can interfere with the adhesion. These include dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, loose debris and flaking material.

Application

1. Shake the aerosol thoroughly for at least 20 seconds and regularly shake it throughout the application.
2. Open the cover and fold the tube perpendicular to the aerosol can.
3. Using a spray bottle, slightly moisten the surface to enhance the adhesion and curing of the foam.
4. Fill the gap 1/3 full, then allow the polyurethane expanding foam to fill the rest.
5. If you have to work in layers, allow the first to cure, slightly moisten the surface and apply a second layer.

Limitations and Notes

• Any cured expanding foam must be mechanically removed.
• Any uncured expanding foam can be removed using a damp cloth.
