Soudal Repair Express Cement – Beige 290ml (Box of 12)

Uses

The Repair Express Cement by Soudal is perfect for repairing mineral surfaces that are suffering from cracks, holes and general small damage. This product is forged using a unique, granular structure which has fantastic adhesion to various surfaces, allowing it to fill and bridge gaps effortlessly. Compared to other conventional cement repair products, this one stands out with its ability to be painted, blending it seamlessly into the structure.

Preparation

Before commencing the application, ensure that the surface and gap to be filled are entirely free from contaminants that can hinder the adhesion, such as dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, etc. Highly porous surfaces should be primed to enhance the glue, ensuring an effective and optimal result.

Application

1. Cut the top of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded screw.
2. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle with an opening slightly larger than the gap to be filled.
3. Place the cartridge into a suitable sealant applicator tool.
4. Point the nozzle to the gap to be filled and fill it up to 5 cm; if the gap is more significant than this, allow the first layer to cure and apply a second.
5. After the first layer has cured, apply a second load into the area and fill it, using a tool to smooth it down to a flush finish.

Limitations and Notes

• Do not apply this product to areas that are subject to constant water immersion
• This product is not suitable for expansion and dilatation joints
