Preparation

You must apply this on a dry day when the temperature is above 10°C. Brush your steps thoroughly, removing leaves, moss and twigs, ensuring that it's just a plain substrate using warm, soapy water to wash the surface.

If they have been previously painted, use a wire brush to remove any loose flaking paint, then apply white spirit to clean the surface. Afterwards, ensure the surface is dry before commencing the application.

Application

1. Open the tin of paint and thoroughly stir it, making sure all the pigments are mixed.
2. Using a brush, apply the first coat to the surface and allow four to six hours for the paint to dry, then apply the second coat.
3. Allow another four to six hours for the second coat to dry; you can walk over it once it has.
4. After 24 hours, the surface will be completely hard and dry, and the diamond-hard protection will activate.

Aftercare

Looking after the surface is easy, ensuring no loose debris, e.g. twigs, sticks, leaves, or moss growing.
