Bitumen Paint
Bitumen is useful for two broad reasons. It has a wide variety of substances that it is easily applied to, and it has a wide variety of threats that it easily defends against. Bitumen is waterproof and also weather resistant. Furthermore, it can withstand salt solutions, weak acids and alkalis, and corrosion alike.
Bitumen can be applied to metal, concrete, wood, and felt easily. It also dries quite quickly, which is extremely useful for a roofing product. It has no smell after drying. All of this makes it fantastic for using in conjunction with other roofing products.
What forms of bitumen does ERoofing sell?
ERoofing sells bitumen primarily in paint form, from major suppliers like Cromar, Everbuild and Bostik. We also sell Everbuild’s Black Jack Bitumen Trowel Mastic and Black Jack Bitumen Roofing Emulsion. Finally, we also stock oxidised bitumen slabs for use with roofing felt.
