The Exterior Multi-Purpose Smooth Finish Filler by Ronseal is a perfect gap-filling product for exterior applications. With excellent weathering resistance, including frost and water, this product also delivers durability and robustness, offering long-lasting application. Delivered in a ready-to-use tub, you can easily apply this product, and it dries within a couple of hours, perfect for a quick job to do on the weekend.

Preparation

Before starting the application, clean the surface thoroughly, removing any contaminants that can hinder the adhesion.

Application

1. Apply the filler directly into the gap, pressing firmly, ensuring it reaches all corners of the void. You should apply enough filler so it fills the gap and slightly protrudes out.
2. Before the filler dries, smooth it out using a wet knife.
3. The drying time is about 1-2 hours; wait patiently, and then you can redecorate on top of it.
4. If you want to fill a gap more significant than 20mm, you'll need to apply the filler into the void at 20mm at a time, let it cure and dry, and then apply another 20mm until the void is entirely filled.

Aftercare

Remove as much of the product from any tools; anything left over can be cleaned with warm, soapy water.
