Uses

The Genius Gun Soudafoam Window and Door by Soudal is an excellent polyurethane expanding foam that provides fantastic gap-filling and insulation benefits. Its fantastic insulation and thermal and acoustic properties are unmatched, putting this product at the forefront when installing windows and indoors. Areas in which this product is typically used include general foam applications, both static and non-static joints. Also, installation of windows and doors, filling cavities, sealing openings in roof construction and creating a sound and thermal barrier.

Preparation

Ensure that all surfaces that this product will contact are free from dirt, dust, grease, oil and similar contaminants that can interfere with the adhesion. All surfaces that this product will contact also need to be moistened with water to enhance curing and adhesion.

Application

1. Shake the can thoroughly for about 20 seconds
2. Open the cover and pull the folded tube to sit perpendicular to the aerosol
3. Apply the polyurethane foam to the area, filling 1/3 of it and allowing the expanding foam to fill the rest
4. If you have to work in layers, allow the first to cure, slightly moisten the surface and apply your second layer.

Limitations and Notes

• All surfaces that this product will contact must be slightly moistened
• Ensure you clean all uncured PU foam from the gun after each use. If you don't, you'll not be able to reuse the product
• This product can be reused for up to 6 months from first use.
