It's also got ribs underneath the head, improving the countersinking and giving it that flush, smooth finish. Alongside the ribs, it also utilises its patented twin-cut technology, which prevents the unwanted splitting of wood, commonly caused at the ends of the surface. Finally, each screw is coated with a high-molecular polymer lubricant, reducing the insertion torque and increasing the rust resistance up to 20 times more than standard zinc plating.
